For Australia, the bom is saying a hot winter, so far in June we have has very cold weather some areas of Victoria and NSW have. Max of -6 and a max temp of -6 Celsius I guess that’s around 21 Fahrenheit, so I think again BOM will be wrong, the last two years the records have been broken for minimum temps in Australia along with snow fall, and the summers have been very mild
But no grand solar minimum in sight still are large peak for cycle 25 in 2027. Going by previous cycles, mid way between peaks on the last part of the cycle Australia will see a slow decline in rainfall and head into drought conditions, where the US will see a slow increase in moisture
Until the start of the next cycle, cycle 26 will be similar to cycle 19 in the 1950’s
Fairbanks Alaska is 44F at night, same as Seattle. Nobody there thinks it’s cold, that’s warm. Same temp as here at night and I have my doors and windows open all night with no heater on.

Fishing is all closed here I have to drive an hour North and that’s too expensive. Salmon come back in September and November, hurry up and wait. There’s no crabs since the 2015 El Nino record heat. That also killed most of the salmons, it was closed for years. Sturgeon fishing closed ten years ago still not open. Oh I wish I could go catch prawns but that’s for when the SHTF and the gov is gone and it’s Mad Max.

Thank you for your otherwise informative site. Personally, I would like to see information about the rate of global cooling and the time to collapse of modern agriculture. As you might recall, Robert Felix (Ice Age Now) used to discuss such practical implications of our present descent toward another glacial period.
Attention to immediate / short-term / micro events is interesting but I suspect that there are many more readers like me who are also interested in the macro picture and the practical implications thereof within particular time-frames.
